I am Seeing you,

Life, I’ve seen you,

Love, hate, honour, grief,

Caught by third eye.

love Blaze

End to hate, grief,

End to wars totally,

When humanity grows up,

Watched by third eye.

peace to all

When will we start,

Presenting Earth our affections.

Peace, love, harmony, forever.

persephones words #draco

tonight at #dverse we have been prompted by Lillian to write a poem inspired by adages/proverbs.

#poetics, #draco, #darklove

Dear Persephone,

It has been an age,

Since last we wrote,

Your words I have missed,

I never know what you shall write.

So here I shall share,

Some you sent to me,

All which shows I still know not

What you shall say.

hand wriitten blood heart

Like;

You hankering for blood

Cajoles me to you

Here I am offering you

From your letter dated 9/3/21

Like;

Found Lazuli’s grave have I,

My self-loathing a slippery slope,

We sold his morrows for what?

Slanted melancholy morals awakened.

From your letter dated 10/7/21.

Your words build upon our dark love.

Never shall I guess what comes next.

From the box of chocolates, that are your letters.

DRACO

Rub salt into my tech wound,

Why the F%^& don’t you.

With tech we need to poem,

Tech not wanting to play.

Sorry dear poet’s hissy fit tech,

Rubbing salt into my tired.

Not salts fault I’m frustrated,

Blo*** tech salting my short temper.

Onion practioner

written for two prompts tonight one over at #dverse supplied by Bjorn giving us the line “It’s a moon wrapped in brown paper ” from Carol Ann Duffy’s poem valentine. and the word Practtitioner from Fandangos one word challenge.#FOWC.

Onion practitioner

Buy love! buy love!

Loves not a commodity for sale,

Bought from gross practitioners,

hawkers of cheapness and fakery,

venders of tat, sellers of nonsense,

dealers in delusions of romance.

Real love cannot be bought,

Like an onion from a vendor,

The onion practitioner,

only call will be “it is a moon,

wrapped in brown paper.”

A plastic heart,                 Will pollute

Both you and your home,

Selling your love for

A plastic rose,

Phooey.

I would much prefer to be

An onion practitioner,

Selling my many tasty morsels,

Moonlike in their own,

Paper bag wrappings,

Making you cry without feelings,

While loving their stink.

Hawkers lining their pockets

On your romantic notions,

Joys they do not bring,

Only lies of happiness,

In peer enforced romance.

True love has the,

Same many layers,

As the onion,

So here I,

 wish you a happy,

Onion day.

Magic #dverse, #wordatthewharf

thank you Linda Lee #dverse another poet/writer to add to my to read list. This is my first encounter with Jim Harrisons words.

i have chosen ” He went to sea in a thimble of poetry.” poet warning by jim Harrison. to use as an epigraph.

The members of my local spoken word group word at the wharf set a topic every month at our once a month meeting. this months’ to be written for Febuarys meet up is magic. i have tried to combine the two has have been struugling with both.

#wordsatthewharf

Magic.

“He went to sea in a thimble of poetry.”

A poet warning.

alongside word at the wharf

Poems can be magic or tragic.

A poet who no longer believes

In the magic of the universe around him.

Like being

Swamped by

the trivial magicians

Of the tv age.

A thimble you say

Why a thimble?

a thimble of

Inspiration

Is all I have

Today.

Tragic is this

The magic I

Cannot find

To share

Words of

Wisdom.
