Then the Ezra Pound poem " in a station of the metro" inspired this one. with a hint of The Jam down in the tube station at midnight.
Feathered.
Grey feathered vermin’s two-fold existence.
Fed by tourists, despised by locals.

I love pigeons, very smart birds who survive and some even have medals of courage for their war efforts.
