We are a disease! Our planet has spurned us, Nature takes back Earth.
Most of us are dead! Wiped out by floods of biblical proportion. Our cities now laying at the bottom of the oceans we almost emptied of fish. A passing space cruiser seeing struggling. Stopped and picked up the ten thousand survivors. The AI running the ship the last remains of another world. Theirs was swallowed when the star it orbited went super nova. Backwards into time they have been slung, by that explosion. So along we go for the ride cleaning and caring for these mighty beings. Paying for our passage back in time. We have instructions to leave for our ancient ancestors.
Pyramids we build, Hieroglyphs we write inside, Earths care instructions.
Nicely done, Rog.

A novel spin on the idea of “Ancient Astronauts.” Will we learn in time to spare ourselves?

Interesting take, your opening haiku I believe is quite true, sadly. Well done!

I love the shape and the way you began and ended with haiku, Rog, and the journey back in time to build the pyramids was a genius idea.
