welcome back from your summer break dverse poets pub attendees. it is a typical soggy English summer so far here we have had very few warm days. hope you are all having better summer. Crabby is the perfect word for my present frae of mind.
Monday crabbies!
Karen Carpenter sang about rainy days and Mondays!
After today I get what she was singing about.

Crabby Monday blues settle,
Rainy day blues drown,
Out my fun day Sunday.
Crabby Monday blues irate,
Rainy day blues overwhelm,
When cooped up with ignorance.
Crabby Monday blues,
Drowning me in rainy days,
Always getting me down.
Nothing left to do but frown.

I was feeling crabby yesterday too, Rog. We had thunder, lightning and what felt like a monsoon. I couldn’t get out the front door for the huge puddle covering the step! You really captured those crabby Monday blues!
