Here we are again chatting about blooms in the middle of spring @ #dverse poets pub. I would like to thank Merril for your heart felt prompt.

The river god Purple Tiger Rose once was I,
Once of the river Bullbourne.
Now just a lowly poet,
Interview with my former self,
Gave rise to my duplicity.
The Procol Harum song
A whiter shade of pale,
haunts my dreams of death.
Leaping salmon once I commanded,
As the river god Purple Tiger Rose,
Not now I am just,
A lonely lowly poet.
Twice in a blue moon,
Do I commune with,
absent friends who dwell,
only in my dreams.
Absolutely Fabulous
would it be to not
interview the river God
Purple Tiger Rose that once was me.
