Moonlit beach calls,
Oceanic salt-spray,
Melts tensions, mind altered 
Driftwood fire sputters sparks upwards.

Moonlit beach calls,
Waves crashing,
Shifting shingle,
My state of mind settling.

Moonlit beach calls,
Rat race rejected,
Praying at the altar,
No longer chasing own tail.
