glazed #quadrille231

to much, ooh too much
What’s too much?
Glazed.
#quadrille, #poetryrules, #dversepoetrypub.

Grainy conscience with Bullshit hangover,
Mind glazed over.
.
Aftermath of ignorance,
Kicking common sense

Am I too much?

Glazed eyes reflect,
Back communication.

Aftermath of ignorance,
Kicking common sense

Grainy with Bullshit hangover,
Mind glazed over with ignorance.

Glazed eyes reflect,
Back communication.

RumPus #quadrille

Matchstick men
Rumpus #qudrille.

Fully engaged with the who-ha,
Hullabaloo driven at full speed,
Into the peace.

Noise and mischief engulfed,
Feedback whining into my psyche.

The open mic rumpus kicking,
Into beer fuelled ecstasy.

Neighbours grimacing at the clamour,
No music fan among them,
Wanting peace restored.

Tin for ten. Oh yes not quite silver. Ten years of the Fishery Wharf café. The very place where I learnt to share my words, my poetry. Invited I have been to participate in a celebration poetry slam, my first. So, participate I shall, I shall.

Canal side party,
Within natures corridor,
Celebrate the day.

no fish (e)#q228

No fish (e) #Q228.
#qudrille, #berkhampsteadpoetrysociety.

Fill up, Fill up,
Fill up on, fill up on,
Wild, wild, wild
Fish,
Day in, day out,
Filling my stomach,
But not tomorrow morning,
Barracuda and carp haunt my night,
Groggy morning down am I,
Bad day, bad day,
Without fish,
No,
Fish.

Tonight’s Quadrille @ #dversepoetrypub asked us t use the word fish. i am also a member of the Berkhamsted poetry society who have asked it’s member to write a poem without using the letter “E” so fish(E) was born.
