the madness of march #haibun

march sunlight.
March Madness #haibun.

Winters cold greyness,
Settled in to stay for ever,
Bleakness never ending.

Emerging from winters cold dark grip, life tries to awaken. My heart yearns for the warmth and young greens of spring. Dashes of yellow shout about what is to come. Daffodils and hazel catkins out.
Out for the first open mic of the year and the madness kicks in. Drunk youngsters drowning out calm in their march madness. Fists flying before chairs at the open mic performers. Is it the weather or something manmade? Blue lights ending the night heart stolen by the march madness.

Sunshine 🌞 on Monday,
Skeletal tree shadows reach,
Waiting to bud burst.

Soggy 🚴cyclist.

rainbows end
Soggy.
#elements, #water, #earth, #fire, #wind.

Double rainbow showing,
Another fake spring?
Indigo dawn teases my aching bones,
Soggy, foggy and down.

Double rainbow showing,
Another storm passing,
Glorious sunset 🌇 teases,
Dry day tomorrow?

Double rainbow showing,
Many more soakings?
Soggy 🚴 cyclist tired,
Enough is enough.

Double rainbow showing,
Summer sunshine wanted,
Ditch the winter soakings.
Ditch the rain filled roads.

Double rainbows showing,
Indigo dawn teasingly,
Whispers nearly there,
Warm and dry ride into work welcomed,
By tired bones and heart.

Hello #dversepoetspub readers we have been invited to write a poem about which ever element impacts us. As I commute by cycle water gets me down down with each morning I arrive at work wet and need to change into dry clothes on arrival.

Indigo Inkling #quadrille

Indigo inkling.
#quadrille, #inkling,

I have an inkling that I might,
Might dream in indigo,
Dark fractured nightmares.

I have an inkling that I might,
Be the fractured indigo dark,
That hides the monsters.

Am I the inkling,
That indigo dreams rule.
The way I share my poetry.

hello LillIan and all @#dversepoetspub. my head went all dark with Indigo.

pugnacious

Pugnacious.

#love, #Quadrille, #dversepoetypub, #letitzing

Loving that pugnacious zing,

That only tomorrow can bring.

When love will be a thing.

Even loneliness shall pass,

My heart no longer Contentious,

Life before was a farce.

When love will be a thing,

That only tomorrow can bring,

Loving that pugnacious zing.

re imagine

Beautiful butterfly
Butterfly unhinged.
#everyday, #reimagined

Unhinged I dream,
Dream of butterflies of steel,
Steel hinges, all a flutter,
Taking flight, I awake.

The beauty of hinges,
Shine @ opening the doors,
Where would we be without,
Unhinged and stuck indoors.
