Hello all how are we this evening? tonight at #dversepoets pub we are discussing choice.

I have gone for the kind of choice that most people have a had time with. But one I believe needs to be discussed with our loved ones.

thank you Grace and Christopher for a grand choice of word.

My choice!

Tis my choice,

when the end is nigh,

A clinic in Switzerland?

A leap from a bridge?

Help from a loved one?

Whichever is the fastest please.

We call ourselves humane,

When we put pets out of their pain,

But our family and friends,

We make to suffer,

Whose choice, is it?

When the time comes.

Why is it so hard for those,

Who love us to let,

Our suffering ends?

If at my end, I am of sound mind,

It will my choice,

To be euthanized.

why is it illegal?

If I no longer want to suffer,

That I cannot ask such a thing.

Since we did fallout, our friendship did end,

There’s no more to share, we did share too much,

No one else at fault, but our own weak wills,

Help losing our inhibitions, we should not have indulged.

Come drop our regrets, our friendship too passionate,

Let love be love, forsaking only sweat memories,

Us who once were, friends of deep connection,

Kiss leading beyond boundaries, lust taking us beyond.

And then friendship failed, broken connections with physicality,

Part of our relationship, will live forever within my heart.

thank you Anne Montgomery @ #dversepoetrypub for one hell of a challenge to write Gnomic poetry. here is my first attempt. if i am not there let me know, how else will I learn.

Litter bugs!

To litter on your own doorstep,

Is to poison your child’s home,

Teaching your offspring self-harm,

Matriarch, patriarch it does not matter,

If we teach asphyxia to our young.

To litter a neighbour’s doorstep,

Is to poison their children’s home,

Teaching our neighbours of our ignorance,

African, European, Asian, South American it does not matter,

If we teach polluting to our neighbours.

Please do not litter,

The planet will not get up,

An 8^th time.

I wish to try and get it published as I cannot afford to self publish I am looking at the traditional route. there are others from the collection already on my blog page.

I DIDN’T GET THE VIOLENCE,

FOR ITS OWN SAKE,

I DIDN’T GET SOCIETY,

FOR OTHER’S SAKE,

I DIDN’T GET KILLING,

FOR MURDERS SAKE,

I DIDN’T HAVE KIDS,

FOR THE SAKE OF HAVING KIDS,

I DIDN’T BUY AN EDUCATED MIND ,

JUST TO MAKE IT FIT,

I DIDN’T GET THAT WE ALL JUST ARE,

OF THE SAME MOULD,

I DIDN’T GET THAT WE ARE ALL,

NOT ETERNAL,

I DIDN’T GET THAT WE ALL

GET JUST ONE LIFE EACH,

I WAS NEVER HEARD WHEN I SPOKE

I WAS NEVER SEEN WHEN I ACTED,

I WAS NEVER COMFORTED WHEN MY HEART WAS BROKEN,

SO, I AM NO LONGER HERE ON YOUR EARTH,

I DIDN’T GET IT WHEN MY WINGS WERE BURNT,

AN ANGEL NO LONGER,

I DIDN’T GET WHY I WAVED MY IMAGERY FRIEND GOODBYE,

I DIDN’T GET MY MIND GOING ADRIFT…………………………………………
