Giles Sparrow is my name!

            Spreading my poetry by Graffiti

My mind rebels against the bars

The bars, this society’s rules

The rules of the easily offended

The black van awaits my broken body

But these thoughts I leave

Written on these walls

May my ink on these walls

Give you a better future

The blood of Giles Sparrow my ink

 Do not waste my blood

So those who come after

Do not repeat the mistakes

OF what came before.

  1. Welcome to the Poets Pub and thanks for sharing your poem. I like the idea of spreading poetry by graffiti. I’ve just read a book about a girl who leaves her poems in all sorts of places: coffee cups, sheet music, sweet wrappers, the bark of trees, and walls.
